Think about what we watched in class today. What responsibilites did the men in the helicopter have? Did they live up to them with reasonable integrity? Was what they did wrong? Why or why not?

though they ended up killing innocent people i feel they did the right thing. In urban warfare it is kill or be killed, and it really looked like the photographer around the corner had an rpg, and there were clearly two men carrying ak47s. Its too bad that there wasnt more they could do to clarify if they had true weapons or not.
ReplyDeleteI agree with maverick. That was accident and it was too bad that two of photographers were carrying ak47, but the US had to publish about the fact and have to apologize to their family. They dont have right to hide the fact.
ReplyDeleteI feel that maybe we need better vision on the ground before we should start shooting like that. Some of those people could have been Americans. I also know that like maverick said, it is kill or be killed. It did look like those photographers had RPG's.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the soldiers did wrong at killing them because it is not like the people in the helicopter were going to get killed by those suspicious people so they could have seen more carefully what was going on. I also believe it is weird for those people to be carrying AK47's and i guess in a time of war you kill anything that has a gun.
ReplyDeletealso the rpgs would not have touched those guys in the helicopters, the helicopter would have had killed him before he even tries putting the rpg in his shoulder
ReplyDeleteI think that the helicoptors took good precaution and that they were just doing there job! But the supossedly civilians should have been smarter about what they were doing cause it wasn't smart and the officers in the helicoptor were just DOING WORK!!! NOTHING BUT WORK!!! But overall the helicoptors did there job but if you are just a camera man don't hold AK-47's with you and make sure you look like a civilian!!! DO WORK!!!
